Project Description

I made 23,000 photographic images to chronicle the forced human absence within the classrooms, office spaces, libraries, etc. on the campus of California State University, Monterey Bay during our shared period of precautionary isolation. A summative piece was displayed at a Pop-Up Exhibition held in Lisbon, Portugal for the Twelfth International Conference on the Image: Picture a Pandemic: The Visual Construction of Meaning in Digital Networks, September 13th - 14th, 2021.
