Description of Photographic Work

I have been making photographic images using an array of digital cameras for more than a decade that capture ephemeral reflections emanating from various water sources (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, rain puddles, etc.) and the closed windows of countless buildings in both urban and rural places (e.g. homes, offices, shops, etc.). The objective is to delicately expose the distinguishable, yet less obvious stunning projections revealed in these architectural structures and essential water bodies through capturing arguably abstract visually arresting photographic expressions. I do NOT employ any postproduction techniques to alter, enhance, adjust, or edit my pictures. They are simply intimate, unfiltered, and purposeful depictions of my daily interactions with the built or natural space.

I have actively generated countless photographic images centered on a specific theme in all places of my dwelling, employment, schooling, etc. The resulting works unintentionally act as visual records of a personal journey from Montgomery, Alabama (through New Brunswick, New Jersey; Portland, Oregon; Fishkill, New York; Monterey, California; Lisbon, Portugal and numerous other locations) to Hamburg, Germany.
